Tim James - Non Executive Director, Albany Capital Plc
Tim is a co-founder director of Albany Capital Plc.
In 1994 along with Oliver Vaughan, Tim was responsible for founding and managing operations at Gander Holdings Plc. Gander was engaged in property development and investment in Kensington and Chelsea and by 1997 the company owned 17 apartment blocks consisting of 324 apartments. In 1998 Gander joined the Official List of the London Stock Exchange and was subsequently successfully sold in a trade sale in 1999 for £108m.
Tim has extensive experience in investing across a broad range of sectors and has successfully financed a number of high growth businesses. Through his strong institutional and private contacts Tim is able to bring significant co-investment funds to potential deals allowing Albany to finance much larger transactions.
